Let them think.Let them process.Let them go through their emotions and logic.And don’t rob them of that moment. THE WAITER STORY (RELATABLE ANALOGY) It’s like a waiter dropping the bill and just standing there while you calculate the tip.It’s uncomfortable, right? Same thing happens when you’re hovering over the seller with nonstop talk.They feel pressure.And pressure makes people back away. Instead, give them space. Give them silence. That’s when the magic happens. COLD CALLING: STARTING STRONG WITH SILENCE Now let’s rewind to the beginning of the call. When you cold call someone, always ask a strong opening question and then shut up. Something simple like:“Hey, are you still selling your home?” Then what? Silence.Let them answer. No matter how long it takes. Don’t fill the gap.Don’t try to sound smart.Just let the question do the work. This is how you start controlling the map of the conversation.
