MY REAL ESTATE DOJO · MR NO FLUFF
About My Real Estate Dojo
Hi Gang. I’m Mr No FluFF.
I was born in Iran, came to America as a refugee, and started building businesses in ninth grade. After college, I lived in my car so I could put what little I had into my dream.
I started with $100. What came next taught me lessons about business, persistence, and creating opportunities that I now share through My Real Estate Dojo.
My message is simple: Be Your Dream.

From Iran to a new beginning.
Iran is a country filled with beauty, history, and culture. But religious persecution made life dangerous for my family. My parents knew that giving us a future meant leaving everything familiar behind.
We fled Iran and began again in America as refugees. My parents were illiterate. We had no financial safety net, and starting over was difficult. But they were fighters. They taught me that attitude, resilience, and a willingness to work could help us find a way forward.
That lesson stayed with me. I couldn’t choose where my story began, but I could choose what I did with the opportunities ahead.
Discipline came before business.
At R. L. Turner High School, I wrestled varsity as a freshman and won medals. Wrestling taught me discipline, strategy, and perseverance. You prepare, you adjust, and you keep going when things get hard.
After high school, I attended the University of North Texas. I planned to go into medicine and become a chiropractor. I studied pre-med, kinesiology, and sports medicine, and earned my degree. But my curiosity kept pulling me toward entrepreneurship.
I started in ninth grade.
I started my first business in ninth grade to earn extra income. While going to school, I was also learning how to run a business and build things on the internet.
Hosting, Linux, PHP, MySQL, custom software, and live chat systems became part of my world. I learned by doing—building, testing, fixing, and asking how technology could solve a real problem for a customer.
This was the dial-up era. I remember picking up AOL and NetZero disks at the mall. Yahoo was a major search engine, and many business owners still relied on Yellow Pages ads. I saw an opportunity to help customers find businesses online.
A pizza website opened an unexpected door.
My father owned a Mr. Jim’s Pizza franchise. I built a website for his store to help him get more customers and take orders online.
The site attracted orders well beyond his delivery area. That created a problem: people in other cities were ordering pizzas that the local store couldn’t deliver. Complaints reached the corporate office, and I was called into a meeting with Mr. Jim himself.
He was interested in what I had built. He paid me $500 for an hour of consulting and offered me a full-time job. I turned down the job because I wanted to keep building my own businesses, but I shared the blueprint for the ordering system.
That experience showed me what happens when you use a skill to solve a business problem. A side project can become an opportunity you never expected.
From Fitness2Go to DrMove.
Search marketing helped me grow Fitness2Go while I was in high school and college. It also helped me launch my next business, DrMove.com.
I built software that let moving customers enter their belongings, choose a moving date, and provide pickup and destination locations online. The system could generate a binding moving quote without sending an estimator into the customer’s home.
I added follow-up emails, booking confirmations, customer feedback, online payments, and deposits. I wanted the business to serve customers more easily and run more efficiently.
DrMove grew into a multi-million-dollar business. The lesson for me went beyond moving trucks: understand the customer’s problem, find a way to solve it, and build a system that helps you do it consistently.
A car, $100, and a decision to keep going.
After college, I chose to live in my car so I could reinvest what I had into my businesses. I gave up comfort because I believed in what I was building.
Over time, I built three businesses without borrowing money from banks, family, or friends. There were setbacks, doubts, and uncertain days. I kept learning, kept adjusting, and kept working.
My journey also took me into rental properties and real estate brokerage. Across different businesses, I kept using the same core skills: finding opportunities, negotiating, selling, serving customers, and putting resources back to work.
Why I share what I’ve learned.
I share my story because I know what it feels like to start with very little. I also know how much it helps to learn from someone who has faced challenges and kept moving.
Through My Real Estate Dojo, I teach the business and real estate ideas I’ve learned along the way. My aim is to help you understand your options, develop practical skills, and take action with a clearer plan.
Your path will be your own. Start where you are. Learn what you need. Take the next step.
